MINNEAPOLIS – The Association for Black Economic Power (ABEP) and its neighborhood partners announce a series of virtual town hall events specifically designed to update the public on the status of the credit union.
The first of three town hall meetings will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022. The virtual event will be hosted by Pimento Jamaican Kitchen and the discussion facilitated by its owner and operator of the Pimento Relief Services,Tomme Beevas.
Visit www.learnaboutvillage.org to complete the required advanced registration. Two additional town hall meetings will take place on Thursday, March 17, and Thursday, March 31.
“Maintaining community support for what we’re doing is critical to our success as we continue to plan for — and work toward — progress,” said Debra Hurston, ABEP executive director. Focused areas of engagement include a pledge drive, volunteer opportunities, and other resource development.
